Aaron's birthday was Friday. Most kids plan their party and what they want for presents. Aaron planned out the menu for the day. He wanted cinnamon rolls for breakfast, Subway for lunch (specifically a foot long meatball sub), and pizza for dinner. So, that's what we did....
After breakfast, I let them have a little fun computer time before we started school.
I spent $30 at Subway on these kids!!! Aaron, Jackson, and Levi all had foot long meatball subs each. They can eat so much food and they aren't even in the double digits yet! What's it going to be like when they are teenagers?
I wanted to take Aaron to the Lego outlet in Atlanta, but he didn't want to drive that far. He said he just wanted a family party at home....so sweet! Mimi and Papa, Mama Re, and Nannie all came over for pizza and cake. My neighbor Jimmy and his daughter popped in, too.
Caleb kept passing gas (meatball subs, remember...). Mallory came and plopped down beside him unaware of what he was doing. She got this horrible look on her face and snatched her head around with big eyes. I caught a picture of her holding her nose!
Ah, little boys. Gotta love 'em!
Aaron always keeps us entertained. He is so witty for his age and says that he wants to be a comedian when he grows up. When we were singing Happy Birthday to him, he was on stage...making faces and being silly.
He received some new Lego sets and a few much needed pairs of jeans, a shirt, and some shoes (thanks Nannie:).
I can't imagine our family without Aaron. He is hilarious, smart, and so compassionate to his brothers and sister. I am looking forward to all that the Lord has in store for him. Happy Birthday Aaron! I love you!
